This video is an example of spinal flexion. I'm performing an exercise called a Good Morning which is great for hamstring and glute strength.
However, spinal flexion is dangerous for the lower back, especially when you have weight on your shoulders or in your hands. Compare this video to the video of me using Hip Flexion while doing the same exercise.
Learning the difference between hip flexion and spinal flexion is vital if you want to build great legs while also keeping your lower back healthy.
